Terms of use
Applicable to all use of nexttoyourplace.fr and app.nexttoyourplace.fr from 21 May 2026.
Article 1 — Purpose
These terms of use ("ToU") govern access to and use of nexttoyourplace.fr and app.nexttoyourplace.fr (the "Service"), published by Platypus Forge (the "Publisher"), by any adult individual or legal entity (the "User").
Use of the Service implies full acceptance of these ToU.
Article 2 — Service provided
The Service allows Users to analyse a French address from cross-referenced official public data (IGN, INSEE, ADEME, BRGM, Géorisques, ARS, DREES, DGFiP, ARCEP, etc.), presented as sourced and dated indicators.
The Service is free for the User. No subscription, payment or commitment is required.
Access to advanced features (address precision, calculators) requires creating a free account via e-mail or an OAuth identity provider.
Article 3 — Business model: affiliation
The Service is funded by contextual affiliate links. When the User clicks on a partner link and subscribes to a service or purchases a product, the Publisher may receive a commission. This commission does not change the price for the User, who pays the same as if accessing the partner directly.
All affiliate links are visually marked (mention "partner link" or equivalent) in accordance with French (Consumer Code, articles L121-1 et seq.) and European (Digital Services Act) transparency obligations.
Anti-bias commitment
The Publisher guarantees that the computation of indicators, scores and anomalies displayed on the Service is fully independent from affiliate relationships. No data, ranking or score is weighted, hidden, promoted or downgraded based on partner remuneration. Public sources are presented as-is, without commercial bias. This rule is publicly documented in the Transparency page.
Article 4 — User account
Account creation is free. The User provides a valid e-mail address (or signs in via an OAuth identity provider). The account stores profile preferences and the User's precise address.
The User may delete their account at any time from the app or by e-mail to contact@nexttoyourplace.fr. Deletion removes all associated data within fifteen days.
Article 5 — Warranties and limits
Analyses are based on public databases used as-is. The Publisher commits to indicate, for each datum displayed, its source and extraction date. He does not warrant data accuracy, which is the responsibility of producing organizations; he warrants accurate restitution.
Reports and analyses are not legally binding documents. They do not replace regulatory diagnostics (EPC, ERP, risk statements) nor the advice of a legal or real-estate professional.
Article 6 — Limitation of liability
The Publisher is not liable for decisions taken by the User based on the Service, nor for discrepancies between displayed data and on-site reality. Use of the Service is solely at the User's responsibility.
The Publisher is also not responsible for content, services or products offered by affiliate partners. A User subscribing with a partner is bound by the partner's own contractual conditions.
Article 7 — Intellectual property
All editorial content published on the Service — analyses, commune pages, source code, design system — is protected by copyright. Reproduction, representation or exploitation, partial or total, is prohibited without prior written consent, except for short cited quotations.
Public data remains the property of their respective producers and is redistributed under their open licenses (Licence Ouverte 2.0, ODbL, etc.).
Article 8 — Personal data
Collected data is processed in accordance with the personal data policy.
Article 9 — Applicable law, mediation
These ToU are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, disputes will be heard by competent French courts under common law rules.
Any amicable dispute can be sent to contact@nexttoyourplace.fr. European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 10 — Evolution of the ToU
The Publisher reserves the right to amend these ToU. Any substantial change will be communicated to Users with an account by e-mail at least fifteen days before entering into force.
